How the odds are modelled
- Exclusive Channel: S-Rank 0.6% base, rising 6% per search from search 74, guaranteed at 90 (1.6% consolidated). 50% chance the S-Rank is the featured Agent; a loss guarantees the next one.
- W-Engine Channel: S-Rank 1.0% base, rising 6% per search from search 65, guaranteed at 80 (2.0% consolidated). 75% featured; a loss guarantees the next one.
- A-Rank every 10 searches at most (9.4% base for Agents, 15% for W-Engines).
- Residual Signal refunds: duplicate S-Rank Agents 40 (100 past M6), S-Rank W-Engines 40, A-Rank W-Engines 8. A-Rank Agents use your owned copies: the first copy refunds nothing, duplicates up to M6 refund 8 and copies past M6 refund 20. 20 Residual Signal buys one search. Standard S-Ranks are assumed to be duplicates.
- A-Rank drops follow the banner rate-up: 50% on the Exclusive Channel go to the two rate-up A-Rank Agents, 75% on the W-Engine Channel go to the two rate-up A-Rank W-Engines, with a guarantee after a loss. Other A-Rank drops are split evenly between A-Rank Agents and W-Engines outside the rate-up.
- Each Agent target uses its latest banner's default rate-up A-Ranks. Since 3.1 you can choose any two rate-up A-Ranks in game, so you can change them per target. Agents without an announced banner default to your two least-owned A-Ranks.
- Soft pity is not officially published; the ramp above reproduces the official consolidated rates exactly.
